Vintage Japanese 1960s Takahashi canister with miss matched lid

Welcome to the wonderful world of Japanese Takahashi glass. According to 'Bing' Takahashi glass ware is hand blown and comes in a variety of colours. 

I love this style of vintage glass, went through a phase where I hoovered every canister I could find... and I have a few. I will be putting more canisters up as I unpack boxes (a little further down the track) so come back regularly.

OK! this canister has a miss matched lid (as explained in the header), not quite snug fitting but very close enough. Both are Takahashi. I don't actually mind the colour discrepancy, gives it more of an amberina overall effect.
