Vintage Tobacco humidor - AONIAN MADE IN ENGLAND from the 1930s
These old lidded jar-type ceramic humidors were made in England during the early to mid-century. It’s a classic piece of yesteryear for storing your treasured tobacco. The brass or bronze lock mechanism ensures that no air reaches the tobacco. I personally don't smoke but it is a very cool piece of history of how people indulged in what was once a socially normal method of keeping a once expensive product.
It still smells of tobacco (just a heads up).
