1970s Westminster China Australia- Tasmania tourist plate - 22 carat gold rim

With original sticker, this 1970s Westminster Australia Tasmanian tourist piece is in beautiful condition! 22 carat gold edging / intact condition makes this a very desirable piece to add to your Westminster Australia collection. (must have sat in a cabinet since new)

History: Westminster Fine China Australia was a company established in 1954 by Stanley Rogers and Son Ltd. in the Melbourne suburb Cheltenham. Later moved to 228 Bay Road, Sandringham in 1977, where they had a 60 000 square foot building that housed the factory, warehouse, office and showroom. They initially used imported blanks from Japan which were made to their specifications that were then decorated locally. W.F.C.A produced a standard range of shapes for souvenir ware, later expanding into a wide range of tea sets, dinnerware, and many other styles of fine china ware.
