Vintage West German “Nuss Wal" (Nut Whale)

Design: The body is crafted from clear, textured glass, while the head acts as a lid for filling and dispensing snacks like nuts or candy.

Origin: These items are commonly known as "Nuss Wal" (Nut Whale) and were popular in West Germany during the mid-century period.

Usage: It is designed as a novelty barware or party serving dish, measuring approximately 23cm in length.

Condition: It's 0ver 50 years old. Little pin prick beauty mark to the lip and the white plastic seal is gapped (but every one of these I've had the white seal has always gapped).
