1970s Vintage Japanese Ceramic Dripping Pot

Vintage 1970s brown stoneware dripping jar, produced in Japan for storing cooking grease left over from cooking roasted meats. (My mother loved dripping on toast...)

The pot features an embossed "DRIPPING JAR" label on the front and includes a matching inner strainer. Embossed Heat-proof and detergent-proof Japan on base.

Probably had a lid at some stage but this one doesn't. 

Condition: vintage exellence.
