"Hildesheim Rose" pattern, designed by Christoph Widmann in the 1920s. These darlings are German vintage silber (silver) sterling 835 (which is 83.5% pure silver). The design features intricate rose patterns extending down the handles, with shell shaped bowls at the end. These spoons were often sold as souvenir teaspoons for decorative afternoon teas (very hoity toity).
I can’t keep all the knick knacks I’ve acquired over the years so this along with other items must go.
They are tarnished and will remain so as I’m a firm believer that you just don’t clean vintage silver… devalues the items. (Unless it’s silver jewellery…have to clean the human grime).
Please see and expand the photos as they help to form part of the overall condition description.
