Vintage 1950s Japanese Scotty dogs figurine

From the base stamp these furry figurine friends were made just after WWII… occupied Japan -1950s. They appear to be happy little Scotty dogs/Terriers perhaps. 

The base has a little glaze cracking, but the rest of the figure is in excellent vintage used condition.
