Volkstedt Figurine - Girl and boy harvesting grapes.

Absolutely stunning delicate hand painted early piece by German maker Volkstedt  figures - young girl and boy with grape harvest. (probably does have an official name but that's what I'm calling them).

Figures are mounted on a flower encrusted naturalistic base with a gilded undulated border. (Thanks Google)

Bisque porcelain.

Volkstedt mark to the base at rear. (Enlarged for your delighted viewing)
Dated late 1930s to mid 1940s.

No fingers or leaves lost in their long journey. 

Does not come with original box.
