Retro / Vintage Ellis Vase - brown glazed

What a wonderful pottery piece! She's flying well for a piece of pottery over 50 years old. In lovely vintage condition.

Ellis, an iconic brand within Australia was renowned for their exquisite statues, lamps, planters and versatile pottery.

Founded in 1953 by Dagmar and Miloslav Kratochvil, Ellis Ceramics progressed from a backyard operation to a commercial business in just a few short but highly industrious years.

The pottery continued operating until the late 1970s where they developed or borrowed/adapted designs to meet post war demand for functional and decorative ware.
