This is the largest of my McHugh Tasmania Shape 33 ball vases. With a girth of 29cm it stands at approximately 9 cm tall and has an early date of 1931.

When you look into the glaze there are shots of red flaming through which visually makes it absolutely beautiful.

In EXCELLENT vintage condition with no cracks, chips or hairlines.

I've included photos of other McHugh ball vases for size comparison.

Why do I call it a ball and not a rose or frog? It has a solid base and would have held water on its own whereas a frog or rose is open at the base.
