Margot Manchester Vintage 1980s Mini Vase

Margot Manchester, Tasmanian potter, has pieces that have travelled globally far and wide. This mini pot vase could also be one of those if you should wish it to.
The earthiness of this piece is tactile and stunning. Margot dug the clay from her own backyard in Launceston, so it is most definitely a piece of Tassie history.

In the early 80s she started to specialise in natural rock glazes, holding her first solo exhibition in Hobart in early 1985. Margot only potted for around 17 years, so each piece has its own collectable merit.
