Lladro Cat with mouse (1) #5236 - No Box

Let's talk about Lladro for a tick. Founded in 1953 by 3 brothers - Juan, Jose and Vincent - these bros had an absolute passion for fine porcelain. Due to this each piece of Lladro is one of a kind. Why? Because they are handmade and hand painted in Spain by some of the world's greatest porcelain artisans (or so the website tells me).

This particular perfect pussy cat was designed by Juan Huerta. (I'm no expert but I am a fabulous researcher...blowing my own horn here).

The backstamp is the sixth that the company introduced and was used from 1984 until 1989. A very short 5-year run. 

This darling kitty is around 40 years old and looking ABSOLUTELY fabulous for her age in the classic Lladro pastels palette. 

Why do I have (1) on this listing? Because I have 2 on offer and I don't want to ship the wrong one to you.
