Do you collect vanity jars? This one is in the guilloché style:

A guilloché style jar is a type of vanity jar that has a lid decorated with a complex and intricate pattern of interwoven lines. The word guilloché comes from the French word for a machine tool that produces such patterns. Guilloché style jars were popular in the Victorian era and the Art Deco period, and they often had enamel, embroidery, or fabric on top of the metal lid.

This particular jar is from the 1960s/70s. The actual top is covered with a separate plastic lid to protect the delightful enamel style design and colour. It is not sterling silver (I wish) but more aluminium.

If the jar were from previous decades, it would have been covered with glass and cost a whole lot more ($$hundreds) than what I am asking and would make a stunning kick-starter to anyone's vanity jar collection or just a wonderful addition.
