Gorokan Pottery Trinket Dish - orange glaze

Gorokan means "The morning dawn" from the language of the Awabakal aboriginal tribe that inhabited the area. I haven't been able to find much information on the pottery myself so if you have info I'd love to hear from you. 

This beautiful rustic trinket dish is in a glaze that was often used for the business. It is like a burnt orange sunrise. There are little glaze nibbles on the piece tantamount to age but as per usual:
