Gorgeous Victorian Antique Cameo Brooch

What a glorious piece of antique jewellery. This cameo can be dated between 1850 to 1910... how? The beautiful hand carved piece is set on a metal base that has a C clasp to secure it to clothing. A C clasp features a long metal pin which can be hooked within a C shape piece of metal securing it in place. These clasps were popular throughout the Victorian era from around 1850 to 1910.
