What a little ripper! Fowler 1930s-cylinder vase. This is the shorter one. Around 14cm tall.
Condition: there is a little bit of glaze craze inside at the very bottom (from use as a vase). Apart from that it’s in excellent vintage condition for a neatly 100 year old piece of pottery.
History. Fowler Potteries were founded in 1837 by Enoch Fowler in Parramatta near Sydney. In 1848 Fowler moved to Glebe, where Fowler made ginger beer bottles and kitchen utensils. In 1860 Enoch Fowler bought a machine for making four‑inch drainpipes; this became the mainstay of the works.
