These are vintage hard to find Coccia Italian pottery dishes from the 1960s featuring hand-painted designs and cased in leather on the back.

Designer/Maker: The pieces are signed "Coccia," though specific details about the manufacturer remain sparse. (Spent an hour going down that rabbit hole....)

Style: The bowls are typical of mid-century modern Italian ceramics, showcasing cars, or colorful motifs.

Materials: They are constructed from ceramic earthenware, commonly with leather wrapping around the exterior edge or base. (Thanks Google for the info).

Condition: There is an old and obvious chip to the larger bowl, but that does not detract from the ability to display extremely well. (I didn't notice it until I was taking photos). (The price reflects the damage).

Please see and expand the photos as they help to form part of the overall condition description.
