Vintage Tasmanian Panogana Pottery Utensil/Bottle holder.

Panogana Pottery
refers to the handmade pottery produced by Bill Thomas in Dodges Ferry, Tassie, starting in 1978, closing in 2015 which makes his work all that more collectable as it's no longer produced.

The studio was known for its distinctive textured exteriors and rich cobalt blue glazes and holds a special place in Australian and global vintage pottery collections.

We have a lot of Panogana Pottery (being Taswegians), some very interesting pieces that differ from the distinct blue ones that Bill produced.

I used this utensil holder for a long time, not just for utensils but also for long stem dried floral arrangements. There are no chips or cracks or glaze crazing.
