Antique ornamental metal hair pin

Design: The piece features an intricate floral motif at the top, possibly representing peonies or chrysanthemums, housed in a vase-like structure. To sit protruding from the back of a high style hair design. 

Material: The handle appears to be constructed of gold-plated brass, given its similarity to other ornate dressing accessories of the era.

Type: It strongly resembles decorative hair ornaments from the Qing Dynasty, or potentially a 19th-century European dressing set accessory. (Not sure....)
