1960s Mamselle (USA) White Enamel Rose with bug Brooch - signed
This is a gorgeous piece of vintage 1960s/70s faux costume jewellery. A piece for the savvy collector. In lovely used condition. Enamel appears intact and actually has real gems as part of the bug design. (Don’t ask me what they are I’m not a gemologist).
‘The Mamselle Jewelry Company was founded by Burleigh Greenberg in 1962. The company was located in Providence, Rhode Island USA.
Greenberg had been an executive for the Brier Manufacturing Company, who produced Little Nemo jewellery, until forming his own company named the B.B. Greenberg Company.’
